In celebration of National Doctors Day (March 30th) Adoray Home Health and Hospice is excited to announce they have appointed Dr. Thomas Field as its new Hospice Medical Director. Adoray is a nonprofit, community-supported health care organization providing hospice care, palliative care, home health, supportive care, senior care and grief support to people who are aging, ill or nearing end of life in Western Wisconsin.
In his new role, Field will lead and guide the performance of the team of hospice and palliative care clinicians who provide care to patients and clients Adoray serves daily. He will work to ensure that quality patient care is consistently delivered, meeting all agency guidelines, and state and federal standards.
“Dr. Field is an esteemed professional in the medical community,” said Adoray CEO Kelsey Derrick. “With Adoray’s commitment to providing quality, compassionate care across the health care continuum, Dr. Field experience, expertise and strategic vision make him a commendable leader for Adoray’s clinical team.”
"In my practice I strive toward clear communication with the patient and their family, availability in scheduling times to meet with families, respecting and affirming the dignity and value of the patient, and providing care focused on comfort and quality of life,” said Dr. Field. He attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. He completed his medical residency in Family Medicine at the University of Minnesota. In 2012 Dr. Field completed his fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Marshfield Clinic.
