When Dara Fermanich, Manager of Baldwin Perks as well as a Wellness Advocate with doTERRA International received a supply of “doTERRA 72 Hour Emergency Hygiene Kits” she wanted them to find a good home where they would help make a difference. While an Adoray employee was at Baldwin Perks for lunch, Dara mentioned she had these wonderful kits if Adoray might have a need for them. Instantly we knew they would be a perfect fit for Adoray’s caregiver baskets.
The kits include some of doTERRA’s favorites from Deep Blue Rub Samples to Tee Tree Touch in the smooth roll-on applicator. These kits were sent out by the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation which is a registered U.S. 501(c)3 nonprofit. The Foundation is affiliated with doTERRA International, which is headquartered in Utah and provides significant financial support as 100% of donations go to aid. This is possible because doTERRA International donates the cost of the administration expenses of running the Foundation, so your donation does make a difference. Through partnerships with humanitarian organizations and doTERRA’s Wellness Advocates like Dara, they create a larger global impact. Why does Adoray give Caregiver’s Baskets you ask?
When a person lives at home with a chronic health condition or is nearing the end of life, most of the day-to-day care is provided by someone close to the person. Regardless of who’s doing the work, caregiving can take a toll, whether it’s provided by a 40-something adult daughter or middle-aged son who is also juggling a full-time career and other family demands. Being a caregiver is hard work and something our team at Adoray understands and is always here to help and support.
That is why Adoray provides these unique baskets to the caregiver of our hospice patient to offer hope, encouragement, and comfort. The key is to provide items that give comfort to the caregiver and shows our appreciation for their hard work of taking care of a loved one during life’s most difficult journey.
