Adoray Executive Director Christa Walz Presents WiAHC’s Champion of Home Health Care Award to Representative Clint Moses

Wisconsin Association for Home Health Care recognizes legislative leadership supporting access to skilled home health care across Wisconsin.

Baldwin, WI – October 15, 2026 – Adoray Home Health & Hospice is proud to recognize the importance of skilled home health care and the leaders working to protect access to these essential services throughout Wisconsin.

Christa Walz, Executive Director of Adoray Home Health & Hospice and Board President of the Wisconsin Association for Home Health Care (WiAHC), recently presented State Representative Clint Moses (R-Menomonie) with the Champion of Home Health Care Award from WiAHC. The award recognizes legislators whose leadership supports the expanded use of skilled home health care as an effective, affordable option for post-acute medical care.

Representative Moses, a health care professional and chair of the Assembly Health Committee, played a leading role in advocating for increased Medicaid reimbursement for skilled home health nursing visits. Included in Wisconsin’s 2025–2027 state budget, the increase raises the reimbursement rate from $96.96 to approximately $117.86 per visit, helping home health providers support their workforce and sustain access to care.
“Representative Moses’ leadership ensured that a Medicaid rate increase for Wisconsin’s home health nurses was included in the state Fiscal Year 2025–2027 budget,” said Walz. “Home health care agencies in Wisconsin are grateful for his support and leadership.”

*More Than 30 Years of Bringing Care Home*

The recognition holds special meaning for Adoray, an organization with a longstanding history of delivering skilled, compassionate home health care throughout Western Wisconsin. Founded in 1995, Adoray is the region’s longest-standing home health care provider, with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals receive care where they feel most comfortable: wherever they call home.

Adoray serves individuals and families across Dunn, Pierce, St. Croix, Polk and Barron counties through Home Health, Palliative Care and Hospice services. Its skilled care teams help patients recover from illness or surgery, regain strength and independence, manage health challenges, and maintain the best possible quality of life.

For patients and families, home health care means more than receiving medical services at home. It means having skilled professionals provide treatment, guidance and support in familiar surroundings, helping patients navigate recovery while maintaining their dignity and independence.

As a nonprofit, community-based organization, Adoray is committed to providing individualized care that meets the needs of the communities it serves. Its experience across rural Western Wisconsin reinforces the importance of ensuring that patients have access to qualified health care professionals, regardless of where they call home.

“Every day, we see how vital skilled care at home is to the individuals and families we serve,” said Walz. “Home health care helps people heal, regain independence and remain connected to the comfort of home. Protecting access to these services is essential for our local communities and for families throughout Wisconsin.”
