Adoray Home Health & Hospice proudly announces that Executive Director Christa Walz, MA, PT, has been elected Chair of the Wisconsin Association for Home Health Care (WiAHC) Board of Directors for 2026.
Since 1995, Adoray has been providing compassionate home health, palliative, and hospice care to individuals and families across five counties in Western Wisconsin. For more than three decades, Adoray has remained steadfast in its mission to ensure that high-quality care is available wherever patients call home, from rural farmsteads to small towns and growing communities.
Christa Walz has dedicated her entire career to advancing home health care. Beginning as a Physical Therapist and growing into her role as Executive Director, Christa has spent over two decades with Adoray championing innovation, expanding access to care, and elevating quality standards. Her leadership reflects both deep clinical expertise and an unwavering commitment to patients and caregivers.
“Our strength is grounded in the expertise and commitment of its Board,” said Eric Ostermann, Executive Director of WiAHC. “These leaders represent the diversity of home-based care across Wisconsin and will help guide our advocacy, workforce, and quality priorities in the year ahead.”
“Growing up on a dairy farm in rural Wisconsin shaped who I am,” said Walz. “It taught me the value of hard work, community, and neighbors caring for neighbors. It also showed me how important it is to have access to quality care, no matter how far down a country road you live.
Throughout my career as a Physical Therapist providing home health care, I have had the privilege of walking into people’s homes during some of their most vulnerable moments. Those experiences have reinforced a simple truth: care delivered in the home is deeply personal, dignified, and powerful.
As the Executive Director of Adoray, serving families with home health, palliative, and hospice care, I see every day how vital these services are to helping Wisconsinites heal, find comfort, and age in place wherever they call home. This role provides an opportunity to strengthen advocacy, workforce development, and quality initiatives across Wisconsin. It is an incredible honor to serve as Chair and to advocate for equitable, high-quality home-based care for every community across our state, rural, urban, and everything in between.”
Under Christa’s leadership, Adoray has grown its impact while navigating the unique challenges of rural health care delivery. Adoray understands firsthand the importance of equitable policies that support access to care in rural communities. Christa’s appointment ensures that rural providers and the families they serve will have a strong voice at the state level.
The Wisconsin Association for Home Health Care represents providers across the state and serves as a leading advocate on legislative, regulatory, workforce, and operational issues impacting home-based care. As Chair, Walz will help guide the Association’s strategic priorities, ensuring that innovation, compassion, and access remain at the forefront of Wisconsin’s health care landscape.
This appointment reflects not only Christa’s respected leadership but also the strength and integrity of the entire Adoray team. The organization’s dedication to excellence, community partnership, and person-centered care demonstrates the very best of Wisconsin health care.
For Adoray, this moment represents more than a leadership milestone, it is a reaffirmation of a long-standing commitment to advancing health care for all Wisconsinites, ensuring quality care is accessible, sustainable, and delivered with heart wherever they call home.
