Adoray Home Health & Hospice, a leading provider of home-based care in Western Wisconsin, is proud to announce the recipients of its 2nd Annual Awards Program, which recognizes the extraordinary contributions of its staff members. The awards were presented during Adoray’s Employee Party on January 11, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s 30 years of service to the community.

The awards are named in honor of individuals who played a pivotal role in the founding and growth of Adoray. The Employee Awards were named after Mary Troftgruben, the founder and first CEO of Adoray.


**2024 Mary Troftgruben Employee of the Year Award**

Adoray is pleased to announce that Whitney Lawson, Lead Enrollment Coordinator, is the recipient of the 2024 Mary Troftgruben Employee of the Year Award. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who embody the core mission of Adoray: "Partnering to Improve the Quality of Life Throughout Your Healthcare Journey, Wherever You Call Home."

Whitney’s dedication to the organization and its clients has made a lasting impact. One colleague said, “Whitney Lawson is a living, breathing example of the embodiment of the Adoray mission. She is compassionate, approachable, and always maintains a positive attitude, no matter the circumstances. She works diligently to ensure that each patient’s care needs are met promptly, with thoroughness and care. Her communication skills are exceptional, serving as the vital liaison between patients, families, employees, and referral sources. Whitney’s commitment to Adoray is unwavering, and she is truly deserving of this honor."

Whitney’s role as a coordinator between various groups is vital to Adoray’s success. She ensures that patients receive the care they need, regardless of which service line they require—whether it be home health, hospice, or palliative care. “I cannot count the number of times patients have asked to meet Whitney after hearing from her on the phone,” shared a colleague. “Her calm, compassionate, and educated approach to each situation makes her the perfect representation of Adoray’s values."


**2024 Mary Troftgruben Servant Leader of the Year Award**

We are also pleased to announce that Karen Pietrowski-Bettinger, Manager of Adoray’s Treasures from the Heart Baldwin, is the recipient of the 2024 Servant Leader of the Year Award. This award celebrates individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership by putting others first and serving the needs of their team or community with selflessness and dedication.

Karen has gone above and beyond in her role, consistently offering support and leadership in innovative ways. One of her colleagues shared, “Karen is a manager who always leads by example. She is always there to support the team, offering guidance, encouragement, and creative solutions to challenges. Her selflessness and dedication to the store and its team members are truly inspiring. Karen doesn’t just manage; she leads with heart, always finding ways to make everyone feel valued and appreciated.”

Karen’s leadership in managing the store and guiding her team has been a shining example of what servant leadership means. She is always available to help, whether it’s rearranging the store, planning events, or pitching in on the floor with associates. Her efforts have created a positive and supportive work environment for all.
