National Healthy Lung Month

Date: Oct, 4 2023

October is the official National Healthy Lung Month. The main aim is to raise awareness about the growing number of chronic lung diseases.

Hospice care is a type of care that focuses on providing comfort and support to individuals who are facing a life-limiting illness. Hospice care for patients with lung disease, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other forms of lung disease, is available when curative or restorative treatments are no longer effective.

Hospice care for lung disease patients aims to manage symptoms, including shortness of breath and pain, while prioritizing patient comfort. Hospice care can help relieve the burden of care on family caregivers and increase the quality of life for patients with advanced pulmonary fibrosis.

Adoray provides hospice care for patients with end-stage COPD and other forms of lung disease. Our team creates personalized care plans that address the needs of both patients and their families.
Adoray Hospice also provides emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families. Our hospice team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals who work together to provide comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.

If you are looking for hospice care for a loved one with lung disease, call Adoray to learn more about how our team can help support you and your loved ones living with advanced lung diseases.
